Highlights

A fantastic cave for the more adventurous family or friends that wish to crawl around getting muddy and wet !!
Minimum age 10yrs old.
The entrance for some is a challenge in itself as you lower yourself down past tree roots, before following a shoulder width passage into the main cave where it widens up.

This cave is more physically demanding for adults, as you stoop through water up to the knees and mud!!

Generally exploring one passageway in and back out, its small formations, but with a couple of tighter crawls for those who want further challenge - may get slightly wetter as a result!!

We may explore other cave tunnels at the start of the session along the hillside - a head for heights required!

Why not try canoeing or abseiling??

Itinerary

We kit you up in over suits, helmets with lights and wellys.

A 10min walk to the start of the adventure!

A full safety briefing before entering each cave starting appropriately for each group.

Some short cave tunnels for a warm up to start the adventure to get used to the environment. These caves are just as much of an adventure to get to as the cave themselves.

Exploring the tunnels we e the many tunnels that gradually squeeze you and provide a good challenge to get through.

Some tighter sections are optional - but not all!!.

The main Carlswalk Cave is in and back out the same way.

We provide information about the cave, cave environment and its formations as we go.

Once finished its down to the car park to de-kit and get changed.

Whats Included

All Safety equipment including helmets, lights, over suits. wellys if ordered when booking.

Cancellations

For a 50% refund your booking can be cancelled 30 days prior to the activity scheduled start date. cancelling within 30 days of the activity start date will result in loss of all money paid. Alternate dates may be able to be agreed at no additional cost, but this is not guaranteed or possible in all situations. Being late, unable to park, booking an inappropriate activity, will result in the activity starting without you or not going ahead at all with the loss of all money paid. Gift Vouchers are non refundable ever. Should Peaks and Paddles need to cancel for any reason - full refund or alternative date or activity offered where possible.

What you Need

Warm Clothing - its approx 8 degrees underground and you will get wet!
Wellys
Extra socks if using our wellys.
Change of clothes including large towel and bin bags for wet muddy kit.
Changing is in or by your car.
No toilets here - go before arriving.
