Highlights
A leisurely Kayak trip for those with or without experience.
These Kayaks are easier to get control of than a canoe.
Instruction given at the start to get control of your tandem kayak, before going for a calm, nice and relaxed journey down the canal to High Peak Junction and return enjoying the abundant wildlife along the way.
(Approx 1hr on the water)
Suitable for family and friends 5yrs - Adults.
New light weight paddles for young children to use or can enjoy the ride whilst paddled by the adult at the back.
kayaks can be paddled solo from the rear seat.
2 Teenagers may be in control of their own craft provided a parent is either on the water too or actively walking along side.
Max group size 12 people.
All under 18s with a parent.
Sorry - no dogs on this activity.
The instructors role is to ensure everyone gets a degree of control over their kayak and safe passage along the canal whilst respecting other users / wildlife / canal boat.

Itinerary
Meet and greet followed by kitting up with buoyancy aids.
A full briefing on land of how to get control of the kayak.
Then its off down the canal for our journey to High Peak Junction and return - a steady paddle at walking pace.
We keep as a group for getting past the canal boat.
Please Note: this is a wet activity, please expect to get a wet bum and feet at the very least! This is not a swimming session!

Cancellations
For a 50% refund your booking can be cancelled 30 days prior to the activity scheduled start date. cancelling within 30 days of the activity start date will result in loss of all money paid. Alternate dates may be able to be agreed at no additional cost, but this is not guaranteed or possible in all situations. Being late, unable to park, booking an inappropriate activity, will result in the activity starting without you or not going ahead at all with the loss of all money paid. Gift Vouchers are non refundable ever. Should Peaks and Paddles need to cancel for any reason - full refund or alternative date or activity offered where possible.
