Highlights

Join us for this leisurely canoe trip along the Cromford canal to High Peak Junction and return.
Ideal for those who have some priyor experience but not essential.
joining others to paddle, explore and unwind in the lovely surroundings of
Cromford Canal based in the Derbyshire Peak District.

Staying as a group your instructor will give you some basic canoe handling skills if needed,
before heading off down the canal together.
No Games its just a paddle and we can give you a few pointers along the way to keep in control too.
For those struggling with a traditional canoe paddle - we will have a few kayak paddles available to make things easier.

1hr 30mins is plenty of time so exact finishing time will depend on the speed of the group.

Well behaved dogs and humans allowed
NOT swimming disturbing the wildlife.

Please wear clothes including footwear for potentially getting wet, along with a change of clothes in the car just in case!
All activities go ahead come sunshine or rain!

2 Teenagers may be in control of their own craft provided provided they are able to keep up with the group and a parent is either on the water too or actively walking along side supervising.

Itinerary

Meet and greet followed by kitting up with buoyancy aids.

A full briefing on land.

Then its off down the canal for your journey to High Peak Junction and return - a steady paddle at a slow steady pace.

Please Note: this is potentially a wet activity - but not a swimming session!

Hen Party / large groups up to 14 people - Alternative dates may be available - please message me.

Cancellations

For a 50% refund your booking can be cancelled 30 days prior to the activity scheduled start date. cancelling within 30 days of the activity start date will result in loss of all money paid. Alternate dates may be able to be agreed at no additional cost, but this is not guaranteed or possible in all situations. Being late, unable to park, booking an inappropriate activity, will result in the activity starting without you or not going ahead at all with the loss of all money paid. Gift Vouchers are non refundable ever. Should Peaks and Paddles need to cancel for any reason - full refund or alternative date or activity offered where possible.
